Create My Electrician CV

In electrical work, safety and qualifications come first. Employers check your trade qualifications and licences before looking at the types of work you've done.

Put qualifications at the top

List your trade qualification and any licence or registration required in your country (for example, wiring regulations certification in the UK or a state electrician licence in the US), plus health and safety training.

Separate types of work

Domestic installation, commercial and industrial work, panel building, lighting, maintenance and fault finding are different specialities. Say which you do and on what size of projects.

Add test equipment

If you use multifunction testers, thermal cameras, power factor correction or PLCs, mention them - they lead to better-paid roles.

What Every Electrician CV Should Include

Example Work Experience Lines
